We are in the planning stages for a new brewery in Northeastern USA called Nor'easter Brewing Company LLC and our business plan is to grow to over 25,000BBL within 5 years.
I enjoy reading blogs such as yours. Every bit of information for starting a new brewery is always helpful. Thanks.

i have a family beer, they live 4 hours away and i was considering opening a branch of the pre-exsisting brewery. Would that make anything easier? I know we wouldn't have the struggle of creating a good beer, as it is already established and well-liked in the areas it reaches.

Well, the moral or the story is that you better be in it for love, because its a lot more work than many people think!

If anything, I now have more respect for the people who start this type of venture.

We're still "in process," but starting a brewery has already been much more work than anticipated. Going to bed aching isn't something you think about when you're dreaming.

Fortunately, we're still just as committed to it. Despite all the hard work, starting a brewery can be very fulfilling. Just make sure you have the work ethic and can put the right team together.
